Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid professional nursing license, degree in nursing, at least 0 years of experience in telemetry or critical care, and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous telemetry or cardiac unit experience, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The position involves interaction with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations, requiring effective communication adapted to each age group's developmental level. The role includes responding to emergency situations such as arrhythmias, cardiac arrest, and assisting with procedures like cardioversions and insertion of temporary pacemakers.
