Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license with license verification.
- Ability to provide direct nursing care, monitor patient conditions, implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and support discharge planning.
- Ability to work scheduled weekend shifts and holidays based on department needs.
- Additional Information:
- Provides care on a 29-bed cardiac telemetry unit serving patients with medical-surgical needs.
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
- Unit support includes patient care technicians, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor technicians.
- Serves patients across all age groups in a Level I trauma center.
- Responsibilities include following physician and nursing orders, communicating patient conditions, applying critical thinking, and using required personal protective equipment and Standard Precautions.
