Job Details

- Required Qualifications: Telemetry certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Postoperative patient experience; orthopedic or neurosurgical experience.
- Additional Information: The unit supports orthopedic and neurosurgical patients with typical ratios of 1 registered nurse to 6 or 7 patients, depending on acuity. Clinical equipment includes infusion pumps, bladder scanners, and bed alarm systems. Typical procedures include bladder scanning and patient-controlled analgesia. Staff members are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees.
