Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry/PCU RN for a night-shift travel assignment requiring 18 months of recent experience and float coverage between two hospital campuses.

Details

  • Position based in the Internal Float Pool covering Telemetry/PCU units
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • May handle ED border patients within specialty when no PCU patients are assigned
  • Float coverage required between two facility campuses within specialty, with the primary need at one location
  • Staff will be informed of their working location prior to each shift
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience required
  • Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide telemetry-level nursing care and support ED overflow patients as needed
  • Must submit all requested time off in advance of assignment start
  • Maximum of 5 RTO days allowed if not falling on or near a holiday, reduced to 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday time-off request permitted per assignment
  • Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not accepted
  • Former Emory or Houston system employees must have been separated for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
