Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry/Intermediate Care RN for a night shift contract position requiring at least 1 year of IMC/Tele experience in a large facility with critical care exposure.

Details

  • Intermediate Care (IMC) unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis
  • Floating required to 2 East Intermediate Care, 2 North Medical, 3 West Post-Surgical, and 3 North Overflow Med-Surg/Negative Air Flow units
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 1 year of IMC/Tele RN experience in a large facility with critical care exposure
  • Experience with ventilators and titration drips preferred
  • ICU or Med/Surg experience preferred
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • 2-step TB test or blood draw completed within the past 12 months required
  • Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months required
  • TDAP vaccination required

Additional Information

  • Expected to assist with holiday coverage on an as-needed basis
  • Orientation begins every Monday, starting in HR before transitioning to the floor
  • Clock in/out required via facility system and mobile app
