Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring telemetry experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Nursing Resource Office Tele Float Pool position within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 1845-0715
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Some holiday coverage required
• Floating required based on skills, with priority given to floating first
• Uses Altera Sunrise EMR (formerly Allscripts), no prior experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (MO or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• TNCC required only for ICU candidates
• Minimum telemetry experience required, including medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitroglycerin
• Progressive Care (Step-Down) or ICU experience preferred
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a telemetry float pool, floating across units as needed
• Orientation includes multiple days of facility, clinical, and computer training before unit placement
• Smoke-free facility
• Facility may cancel one shift per pay period with a minimum of 2 hours notice, at no cost and no pay
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
