Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Job Description & Requirements

- Number of Beds – 36
- Number of Staff – Staffing When Full: 7 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and 1 Unit Clerk (UC) per shift
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – Rn’s and LPN’s
- Night Shift – RN’s and LPN’s
- Patient Ratios – 6:1
- Type of equipment – IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, Enteral feeding
- pumps, Bipaps, Vapotherms, wound vacs, PCA pumps, Post–cardiac catheterization care, including radial bands, cardiac drips, and continuous telemetry monitoring
- EMR – Medtech
- On Call Requirement – NO
- Floating Requirement – May float to other Medical-Surgical units based on staffing and patient care

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- ACLS and BLS
Preferred or nice to have:
· Candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Cardiac telemetry, cardiac catheterization recovery, stroke care, chest tube management, and cardiac
infusion experience.
Candidates must be more than 50 miles from the facility and Full SSN Required during the time of submission as per requested by the client
