Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Hospital: 5721 W. 119th St, Overland Park, KS
Unit: Med Tele – Building A
Beds: 25
Contract: 13 weeks / 91 days

Shift

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 12-hour days
• 3 shifts/week
• 36 hours guaranteed
• 48 hours guaranteed preferred
• Every 3rd weekend at minimum

Patient Assignment

• 4–5 patients per nurse
• Primarily:
  • Renal
  • Urology
  • Oncology
  • Pulmonology
  • Cardiology
  • General Med-Surg

Requirements

Must have:

• BLS
• ACLS
• Basic Dysrhythmia
• Good attitude
• Team-oriented mindset

Experience/skills:

• Med-Tele experience
• Basic Med-Surg procedures
• Strong documentation
• Central line, Foley, C. diff and HAI-related processes

Floating

Candidate may float to similar units, including:

• Ortho
• Neuro
• CCU
• CDU
• SSU
• Observation
• Rehab

Equipment / EMR

• EMR: Meditech – EBCDS
• EKG
• Bladder scanner
• Sit-to-stand
• Hoyer lift
• Hover mat
• Alaris pumps
• Pyxis

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrub top
• Royal blue or black pants
