Description

American Traveler is hiring a MS/Telemetry RN for a float pool day-shift position requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of experience across multiple facilities.

Details

• Med/Surg and Telemetry unit setting within a hospital environment
• Float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• 13-week assignment length
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
• Delegate patient care tasks and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
