Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry (Tele) in Tucson, AZ. The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Float between departments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Active Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Telemetry or Med-Surg setting.
• Ability to work at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
