Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/IMC Med-Surg position on night shift, requiring BLS, ACLS, and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• IMC Med-Surg unit providing telemetry level care
• Night shift schedule, 7PM to 7AM
• 13-week assignment
• Full time work type

Requirements

• Active RN license in TX or compact
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• BSN preferred
• 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care using the full nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care needs
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous CHRISTUS employees must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible for this assignment
