**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN - Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Welcome to 2 West, a dynamic unit with a mix of 8 inpatient beds and 8 admission unit beds. We occasionally expand to 12 inpatient beds depending on hospital needs. - Join a supportive team of 10 dedicated staff members: - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 2 RNs, 1 PCA - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 2 RNs, 1 PCA - Patient ratios are a maximum of 6:1, ensuring focused attention on each patient. - **What We’re Looking For:** - **Must Have:** - 1+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year - Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time - **Preferred Skills:** - 2+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year - Background in ortho or neuro-surgery is a plus, while Med/Surg/Telemetry background is sufficient. - **Typical Procedures:** - Deliver care to med/surg patients - Utilize standard nursing skills including: - IV insertions - Urinary catheter insertion/maintenance - Central line maintenance - Medication administration - Actively communicate with all members of the care team - Maintain accurate documentation in EHR - **Personality Fit:** - Seeking friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused individuals. - **Required Certifications:** - Valid RN license - **Floating Area(s):** - Opportunities available in med/surg units. - **Dress Code:** - Scrubs required. - **Weekends:** - Typically rotating weekends as needed for travel RNs. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
