Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a 13-week night shift contract requiring TX or compact RN license and Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Ortho/Trauma unit within a hospital setting, 34 beds
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6, occasionally 1:5
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Welch Allyn Vital Signs monitors and GE Telemetry Monitoring equipment
• Charts using MediTech EMR
• Performs procedures including wound vac care, CPM machine use, external fixation, and bracing

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry/Med-Surg experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Ortho/Trauma telemetry unit
• Work alongside a care team including charge nurses, RNs, PCTs, and unit clerks
• Navy scrub color required
• Unit recognized with an ICARE Award and multiple Daisy Award winners
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
