Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a travel contract in Santa Teresa, NM. This role involves working closely under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently. You will also liaise with the Billing Supervisor and Technician Supervisor, requiring onsite presence in a dynamic pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
- Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor for data entry to facilitate prescription filling and reimbursement
- Assist in prepackaging medication according to standards and regulations
- Support the Pharmacist in the final checking of prescriptions, stating medication for final review
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
- Help maintain good inventory practices, including managing incoming medications and conducting physical inventory
- Work with the Technician Supervisor to ensure a clean and safe work environment
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
