CVOR Scrub Technician in
Charleston, SC. This assignment consists of
8-hour day shifts,
5 shifts per week, totaling
40 hours, with a weekly pay of
$2,600. Will be working 06:30am -15:00pm with 2 weekday calls and every 3 th-4th weekend call MUST HAVE CVOR EXPERIENCE. Must be NBSTSA certified.

Key Responsibilities of the CVOR Scrub Technician:- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently during operations
- Assist with open-heart surgeries, vascular procedures, and other complex cardiovascular interventions
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, assembled, and functioning correctly
- Perform surgical counts according to facility protocols to ensure patient safety
- Handle specimens appropriately and maintain accurate documentation throughout procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, registered nurses, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
- Adhere to infection prevention standards and sterile technique at all times
Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Scrub Technician experience
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred or required per facility guidelines
- BLS certification required
- Experience assisting with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile processing, and aseptic technique
- Ability to remain focused and perform effectively during lengthy and complex surgical cases
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts and participate in call requirements if needed
