Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment. This role involves supervising and coordinating the operations of Central Sterile services in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician- Supervise and coordinate staff and daily operations of Central Sterile services
- Ensure staff compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures
- Document sterilization activities and maintain department records
- Serve as a liaison between Central Sterile department and perioperative areas
- Ensure proper care and handling of all instrumentation from the decontamination area
- Accept and tag fast tracks
- Assign daily job tasks to employees, making adjustments as necessary
Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician- Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST or CSPD), must not expire during the term of assignment
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Leadership/management experience
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity, ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for extended periods
- Effective communication skills in English
