Key Responsibilities of the Anesthesia Tech- Assist in patient care involving anesthesia, including equipment preparation and medication setup.
- Operate and maintain anesthesia equipment and participate in advanced surgical cases.
- Provide primary support and ensure proper functioning and preventive maintenance of anesthesia equipment.
- Assist in training programs and staff development for anesthesia technologists.
- Set up and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment such as infusion pumps and defibrillators.
- Perform room setups and support ectopic procedures ensuring proper equipment availability.
- Provide backup support to the shift supervisor as needed.
Requirements of the Anesthesia Tech- BLS certification
- Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
