Seven Healthcare are seeking an Anesthesia Technician for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role plays a critical part in assisting in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia under limited direct supervision. Key Responsibilities of the Anesthesia Technician- Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia, including equipment preparation and setup.
- Operate the cell-saver machine and participate in advanced surgical cases.
- Ensure anesthesia equipment is in good working order and perform advanced troubleshooting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of in-service training programs.
- Perform anesthesia equipment setup and troubleshooting.
- Set-up rooms and carts, and provide support for ectopic procedures.
- Provide backup to the shift supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Anesthesia Technician- BLS certification
- Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
- Certification by a recognized professional certifying body preferred
