Key Responsibilities of the Anesthesia Technician- Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia, including preparation of equipment and supplies.
- Operate the cell-saver machine and participate in advanced surgical cases.
- Ensure that anesthesia equipment is in good working order, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of in-service training programs.
- Perform set-up and troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment and monitor devices.
- Set-up rooms between cases and provide full service set up at the end of the day.
- Provide backup support to shift supervisor during absences.
Requirements of the Anesthesia Technician- BLS certification
- Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
