Key Responsibilities of the Anesthesia Technician- Assist in patient care during anesthesia, ensuring equipment availability and communication with clinicians.
- Operate complex equipment such as the cell-saver machine, and assist in advanced surgical cases.
- Ensure anesthesia equipment is well-maintained and provide troubleshooting support.
- Contribute to training programs for staff on anesthesia technology and equipment.
- Set up and troubleshoot equipment like infusion pumps and anesthesia machines.
- Prepare procedural rooms and provide end-of-day equipment setups.
- Assist with various administrative tasks and provide backup support to supervisors.
Requirements of the Anesthesia Technician- BLS certification
- Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician
- Certification by a recognized professional body preferred
