Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications
- Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement
- Assist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and regulations
- Support the Pharmacist in final checking and packaging of filled prescriptions
- Help in maintaining inventory, receiving and rotating medications, and assisting with physical inventory
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment through equipment checks for calibration and safety
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Relevant experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Experience with prescription preparation and inventory management in a pharmacy setting
