Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Wilkes Barre, PA. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under direct supervision
- Entering data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement payment
- Pre-packaging medication for dispensing as per standards and regulations
- Assisting Registered Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions
- Coordinating accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
- Maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment and checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Experience in pharmacy technology or equivalent role
- Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
