Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Entering data into the computer system to fill prescriptions and obtain reimbursement payment
- Prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations
- Assisting the Pharmacist in the final checking of filled prescriptions
- Coordinating accurate and timely delivery of medication to the customer
- Maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Relevant certifications as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in pharmacy operations and prescription handling
