Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Enter data into a computer system for prescription filling and reimbursement payment
- Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and regulations
- Assist in the final checking and packaging of filled prescriptions and coordinate delivery
- Maintain inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and conducting physical inventory
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration and cleanliness
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Active Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Familiarity with medication dispensing standards and government regulations
