Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Work with the Billing Supervisor on data entry for prescription filling and obtaining reimbursement payments
- Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing, adhering to standards and regulations
- Support the Pharmacist in final checking and packaging of filled prescriptions
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
- Maintain inventory practices, including receiving, rotating medications, and participating in physical inventory
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and inventory management
- Ability to maintain a clean and compliant work environment
