Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
- Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement
- Assist in prepackaging medication for dispensing and maintain compliance with standards and regulations
- Support pharmacists in the final checking of filled prescriptions and coordinate delivery to customers
- Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration and safety
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Relevant certification or experience in pharmacy technology
