Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
- Enter data into the computer system for prescriptions and reimbursement payments
- Prepackage medication following standards and regulations
- Assist in final checking of filled prescriptions and coordination of medication delivery
- Maintain inventory practices, including receiving, rotating, and logging medications
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment calibration and safety
