Key Responsibilities of the Full Time Patient Care Technician - Emergency Department- Perform patient care activities and clerical functions under RN supervision
- Provide technical assistance and participate in unit and organizational improvement activities
- Execute phlebotomy, EKGs, and other patient care tasks efficiently
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of utility areas and manage departmental supplies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements of the Full Time Patient Care Technician - Emergency Department- High school diploma or GED
- Current BLS certification through AHA or RQI
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
