Description

American Traveler is hiring a Swing Bed RN for a Days position requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and NM or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Work in the Swing Bed Unit of a hospital, providing skilled nursing (SNF) level of care
  • 15-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:8
  • Floating required within scope of practice and clinical competency to Rehab and Med/Surg
  • Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Call required, typically limited to census-based flex on-call prior to scheduled shift start
  • Uses MedHost EMR

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience required; 2+ years preferred
  • No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
  • Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provide general skilled nursing (SNF) level care to Swing Bed patients
  • Scrubs of any color are permitted
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local travelers accepted
  • RTO requests must be less than 1 week
  • Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
  • Fingerprinting is required for all NM travelers, which may take several weeks to process
