Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit requiring telemetry experience and prior pre/post-surgical patient care.

Details

• Work on a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit providing pre and post-surgical bedside care
• Two levels of care provided: adult inpatient Med Surg acute care and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience required
• Experience in a facility with 500+ bed capacity required
• EPIC experience preferred
• 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred

• Provide pre and post-surgical bedside care to adult patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Experienced travelers preferred given the acuity and complexity of the facility
