Travel Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech)

Contract Length: 12 Weeks

Weekly Pay + Stipend: 2,300 2,600
Shift: 4 10-hour shifts (Rotating: Days, Evenings, Nights)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Position OverviewNurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech) for a 12-week travel contract in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have surgical technology experience and the ability to provide safe, high-quality perioperative care in a high-acuity surgical environment.
RequirementsMinimum 2 years of OR experience in the last 3 years required (3 years preferred).
Minimum 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years.
Minimum 1 year of recent travel experience within the last 3 years.
Strong proficiency in General Ortho (total joints mandatory), Neuro (Crani & Spine mandatory), Vascular, Trauma, and DaVinci Robotics (Cardiac: move arms and drape). Transplant experience is a plus.
Availability for 40 guaranteed hours per week on rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights); no block scheduling.
Call and weekend availability required (weekday and/or weekend call; up to 3 weekend call shifts per 6-week rotation with a 30-minute response time; in-house call rooms available).
Cannot be a previous regular employee of the client's healthcare network.
Highly competitive weekly gross pay of 2,300 2,600.
