Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Specialty Nurse in Arlington, Texas. This position involves providing care and support in a surgical setting focusing on operating procedures and open heart cases. The role requires coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient care and adherence to unit protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience, Meditech electronic medical record system experience, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro procedures or ECRP (Endovascular Clinical Resource Program), vascular procedures, and advanced surgical techniques.
  • Additional Information: The unit performs all types of procedures excluding transplants. A flexible, team-oriented personality is ideal. On-call and holiday coverage are required. There is one position available.
