Job Summary:
The San Francisco-based healthcare organization is seeking a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician with expertise in neurosurgery, spine, and orthopedic procedures. This position involves assisting in surgical preparations and intraoperative duties to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a focus on sterile techniques and familiarity with advanced surgical equipment.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8-hour days, with schedule hours from 09:00 to 17:30; variable shifts may be possible, including weekends. On-call responsibilities are required.
- Required Qualifications: CST licensure (NBSTSA), BLS (AHA), HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, at least 2 years of surgical experience including neuro, spine, and total joint procedures; experience with Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic, and DaVinci robotic surgical systems preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with neuro, spine, or orthopedic surgical procedures, familiarity with da Vinci robotic surgical systems, and extensive intraoperative support experience.
- Additional Information: This role involves assisting with a variety of surgical procedures in the orthopedic, neuro-spine, and ENT specialties, including robotic surgeries, craniotomies, and joint replacements. The position is based at a facility serving adolescent and adult patient populations, with a patient census of approximately 15 per day.
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026.
