Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in an outpatient healthcare setting. This position involves providing direct patient care by assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring the efficient operation of the operating room. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality surgical support.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Certified Operating Room Technician with NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting), at least 2 years of relevant experience, and current professional profiles and references
  • Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience in orthopedic (Ortho), neurological (Neuro), robotics-assisted surgeries across multiple specialties, including ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedures
  • Additional Information: The role requires adherence to Standard Precautions and proper usage of personal protective equipment. The technologist will serve as a primary scrub technician, facilitating complex surgical cases and assisting with patient discharge planning as part of the surgical team.
