Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) for a travel assignment in Denver, Colorado. This role involves supporting the surgical team in a busy operating room environment, primarily focusing on elective surgical cases including orthopedics, spine, general surgery, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology. The position offers an opportunity to work with experienced staff and modern equipment, providing a dynamic environment for a qualified healthcare professional.

Job Details:

Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 months current acute care Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) experience, and certification in National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) and DORA. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedic/spine procedures and cardiovascular cases is highly advantageous.
Additional Information: Candidates should have flexibility and strong patient care skills. Call is required with a response time within 30 minutes. The unit performs elective cases with a team-focused environment, and new equipment or technology enhancements may be available.
