Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician Manager position available in a Level II Trauma Center setting. This role involves overseeing sterile processing activities with a focus on neuro, orthopedic, robotics, and pediatric surgeries. The position emphasizes team leadership, supply knowledge, and adherence to quality standards, within a teaching department environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in sterile processing, current certifications such as CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA, and valid state licensure. Candidates with at least 1 year of travel or hospital experience are accepted.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, trauma level II experience, and familiarity with clean and sterile procedures for a variety of surgical instruments.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required between units and nearby sister facilities.
  • Additional Information: Orientation includes three days on day shift with specified arrival times, transitioning to contracted evening shifts. Candidates need to demonstrate supply knowledge, case picking ability, self-motivation, and effective team collaboration.
