Summary

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures competently and professionally.
Ensure the availability and maintenance of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
Scrub for surgical procedures and perform duties as assigned by the registered nurse (RN).
Perform direct patient care duties, including assisting physicians during procedures.
Maintain required clinical knowledge, technical skills, equipment, training, and credentials.
Adapt to change in a positive and constructive manner.
Ensure cleanliness and disinfection of endoscopes while maintaining quality control measures.
Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate from an accepted course in surgical technology certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Certification in Surgical Technology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to be self-directed.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment.
