CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician) – Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in cardiovascular and open heart surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 2-room open heart unit with a potential third room
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CVOR RNs and Certified Surgical Technologists
• Operate and manage specialized cardiovascular equipment within the OR environment
• Utilize Meditech / CPN EMR for documentation and patient records
• Participate in on-call coverage as required per unit schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Surgical Tech hospital experience
• Must be vascular trained
• NBSTA Certification required
• BLS certification required
• Current active Kansas (KS) licensure required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Open heart and cardiovascular surgical experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
