    Contract (13 Weeks) | Rotating Shifts | Days/Evenings (7:00–19:00 and 15:00–03:00) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every 3rd Weekend Required | Blackout Dates: Christmas and New Year's

    Key Responsibilities
    • Scrub and assist with both planned and emergent C-section cases (average 3–4 cases per day) within a dedicated L&D OR
    • Assist with transport of patients from room to OR and provide support for vaginal deliveries
    • Perform CNA-level duties between cases, including vital signs, ambulating patients, stocking, baby baths, and circumcision procedure setup and breakdown
    • Utilize the Jada system for postpartum hemorrhage management
    • Maintain accurate charting using EPIC (required)
    • Adapt to low-census periods; may be placed on call during unbillable hours with call-back pay if recalled
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
    • CST certification required — NBSTSA or NCCT accepted
    • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an OB setting; first-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (radius rule expires 9/11)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with emergent C-section cases and OB hemorrhage protocols
    • Familiarity with the Jada system for hemorrhage management
    • Ability to perform CNA-level support duties in an L&D setting
    • Strong adaptability, resilience, and interpersonal communication skills
