Job TitleSurgical Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week; shifts vary between 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options within the pay period, with start times as early as 6:00-6:30 AM and most shifts ending by 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical cases across 4 OR suites and 1 Endoscopy suite, supporting 8-18 OR cases per day and approximately 7 Endoscopy cases per week
- Support a broad range of specialties including cataracts, endoscopy, pediatric ENT, adult ENT, urology, orthopedics, spinal procedures, GYN, and robotics
- Work alongside 1-2 OR techs per room under the direction of a charge nurse and surgical services manager
- Utilize Excellian (Epic-based) EMR for documentation and case management
- Float to PACU, pre-op, or same-day surgery areas as needed
- Respond on an emergent, as-needed basis for call coverage (rare occurrence for travelers)
Required Qualifications- Acute hospital surgical technologist experience required
- Experience with pediatric cases required
- Experience across all listed specialties, including spine, required
- BLS certification required
- Flexibility to work varied shift lengths (8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts) within the pay period
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with Excellian or Epic-based EMR systems
- Experience floating to PACU, pre-op, or same-day surgery settings
- Comfort working in a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment
