Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in the operating room across a variety of surgical cases
• Adapt to variable shift start times and maintain readiness for on-call assignments as needed
• Document patient care and surgical activity using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to all facility infection control, sterile field, and surgical safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgical team members including RNs, surgeons, and anesthesia staff to support efficient case flow

Required Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification (Certified Surgical Technologist) required
• BLS certification required - must be issued by AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Valid California state credentials as applicable
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with OR, SPD/sterile processing, or L&D surgical environments
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to variable scheduling and on-call demands
