Opportunity:
Certified Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• NH license or compact license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Unit hours of operation are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call begins at 3:00 PM when assigned
• Weekend call assigned on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when scheduled
• Must be proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum
• Must be proficient in thoracic surgery cases including daVinci-assisted procedures and open thoracotomy
• Must be proficient in VATS procedures, ECMO initiation, and pericardial window procedures
• Perform a variety of cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacement, and repair of aortic dissections
• Perform TAVR procedures and thoracic surgery including daVinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, and mediastinal lymph node biopsies
• Must be able to take call when assigned
• Hospital-provided scrubs

This facility is a well-established hospital campus home to a dedicated cardiovascular operating room unit located on the 4th floor. The CVOR unit handles a wide range of complex cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, supported by advanced surgical technology including daVinci-assisted robotic surgery and ECMO capabilities. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care and maintaining a skilled, specialized surgical team.
