Contract | Days | Three 12-hour shifts (0900–2130, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday)
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate physician performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic surgical procedures
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures
- Ensure quality patient care throughout the operative procedure
- Continuously monitor and maintain the sterile field during surgery
- Assist with orthopedic (total joints) and advanced robotic (DaVinci DV5) surgical cases
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Strong proficiency in orthopedic (total joints) and advanced robotic (DaVinci DV5) surgeries
Preferred Experience / Skills
- National Board of Surgical Technologists (NBST) or Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) certification
- Relevant acute care surgical experience
- Endovascular surgical experience
