Contract | Days (4x10 Hours, 7:00–17:00) with possible night shift rotation (17:30–5:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in a high-volume surgical environment supporting 60–80 cases per day across 30 operating rooms
- Perform surgical technologist duties across general, trauma, vascular, endoscopic, colorectal, and gastro robotic procedures
- Participate in weeknight call coverage (averaging 1–2 nights per week) and weekend call (averaging every 4–5 weekends)
- Adapt to possible off-shift assignments (1–3 shifts per scheduling period) within a 4-week schedule cycle
- Chart accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
- Experience with general and trauma surgery required
- Experience with vascular and endoscopic procedures required
- Experience with colorectal and gastro robotic procedures required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level 1 Trauma center experience highly preferred
- DaVinci robotic surgical system experience highly preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
