Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in the operating room during a variety of general surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures
• Pass instruments and anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation for surgery
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and disposition of surgical specimens

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience required
• Candidates with or without CST certification will be considered
• Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active CST certification preferred
• Experience in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, cardiovascular, or general surgery
