Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in the operating room by preparing and passing instruments and supplies during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper surgical technique is followed throughout all cases
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team to support efficient case flow
• Perform counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room by setting up equipment, instruments, and sterile supplies prior to each case

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a surgical or perioperative setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties (e.g., orthopedics, general, cardiovascular)
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility protocols and team environments
