Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist in a high-volume, multi-specialty operating room environment covering a broad range of surgical services
Support procedures across specialties including General, Orthopedics, Neuro, Open Heart, Robotics, Trauma, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Burn, Dental, Gastroenterology, and Psychiatry
Participate in rotating weekend call approximately every four weeks; call may also be used to fill evening and night staffing needs Monday through Thursday and is evenly distributed among the team
Perform call shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours; every effort is made to keep combined work and call hours at or below 60 hours per week
Maintain sterile field integrity and ensure proper handling of instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout all procedures
Required Qualifications
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience in an OR setting
Experience scrubbing across multiple surgical specialties
Ability to start no earlier than 10/26/2026
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures (gynecology, general, urology)
Trauma surgery experience including damage control and resuscitative surgery
Open heart surgery experience including CABG and vascular procedures
Comfort working in a high-acuity environment with ICU-level burn patients
