    Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

    Location

    Idaho Falls, ID | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 3 days per week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Scrub and assist in a high-volume, multi-specialty operating room environment covering a broad range of surgical services
    • Support procedures across specialties including General, Orthopedics, Neuro, Open Heart, Robotics, Trauma, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Burn, Dental, Gastroenterology, and Psychiatry
    • Participate in rotating weekend call approximately every four weeks; call may also be used to fill evening and night staffing needs Monday through Thursday and is evenly distributed among the team
    • Perform call shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours; every effort is made to keep combined work and call hours at or below 60 hours per week
    • Maintain sterile field integrity and ensure proper handling of instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout all procedures
    Required Qualifications
    • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience in an OR setting
    • Experience scrubbing across multiple surgical specialties
    • Ability to start no earlier than 10/26/2026
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures (gynecology, general, urology)
    • Trauma surgery experience including damage control and resuscitative surgery
    • Open heart surgery experience including CABG and vascular procedures
    • Comfort working in a high-acuity environment with ICU-level burn patients
