Key Responsibilities
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all OR procedures
- Set up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases
- Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures
- Pull cases as needed and break down cases at the conclusion of each procedure
- Prepare the operating room and supplies needed for the current and following day's surgical schedule
- Remain available for call on an assigned, scheduled basis as required by unit need
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of aseptic technique in the OR setting
- Ability to scrub a variety of surgical cases and pass instruments proficiently
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience pulling and setting up cases independently across multiple surgical specialties
- Familiarity with call rotation schedules in a fast-paced OR environment
