Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist in a variety of elective surgical cases including Orthopedic, Spine, General, Cardiovascular, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology procedures
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 23-OR main operating room environment
Operate and manage OR-specific equipment in accordance with facility protocols
Utilize Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems as required
Participate in on-call rotation, including second call on select weekends and first call coverage for 1–2 shifts, with a required 30-minute response time
Collaborate within a team-oriented, elective-only (no trauma) surgical environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of current acute care Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting
Active NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required
Active DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) Certification required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in Orthopedic and/or Spine surgical procedures
Experience in Cardiovascular (CV) surgical procedures
Flexible, adaptable personality with a strong focus on patient care
