One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months required. Complete required orientation activities, including initial weeks on day shift to become familiar with the unit.
Transport patients safely throughout the facility as required
Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures to maintain readiness
Lift and move heavy items in accordance with facility safety protocols
Support surgical services staff in maintaining an efficient and compliant operating environment
Complete required orientation activities, including initial weeks on day shift to become familiar with the unit
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
18 months of combined permanent experience in a surgical specialty preferred
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
High school diploma or GED required
Active permanent Ohio state license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission

18 months of specialty experience within a single location
Prior experience in a surgical services or perioperative environment
Familiarity with surgical room turnover procedures and patient transport protocols
